A busy language centre chain in Taiwan needs a Scheduling Coordinator to keep its multi-branch teacher rosters running smoothly. You'll be the go-between for teachers, students, and branch managers — juggling last-minute cancellations, substitute cover, and seasonal timetable changes. Fluent Chinese is essential here, since you'll be coordinating directly with Chinese-speaking students, parents, and admin staff daily.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain weekly teacher and class schedules
- Arrange substitute cover for absences
- Communicate schedule changes to students and staff
- Manage booking system and resolve conflicts
- Liaise with branch managers on staffing needs
- Handle student rescheduling requests
Requirements
- Fluent or near-fluent English and Chinese required
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Comfortable with scheduling software
- Prior admin or coordination experience preferred
- Calm under pressure during last-minute changes
